Haas has completely redesigned our best-selling ST-25 Series turning centers to provide even more performance, features, and value than ever before. We’ve re-engineered everything – from the ground up – to create a more rigid machine, with superior cutting performance, and a host of productivity-enhancing options.
The ST-25 is a compact big-bore lathe with a generous 381 mm x 533 mm maximum capacity, a 76 mm bore, and a 527 mm swing over the cross slide. The spindle turns to 3400 rpm and the 22,4 kW vector drive system provides 300 ft-lb of cutting torque. A 254 mm hydraulic chucking system and 12-station turret are standard.
The ST-25Y has a 305 mm x 533 mm maximum capacity, sand adds 102 mm of Y-axis travel (±51 mm von der Achsenmitte) for off-center milling, drilling, and tapping. It comes standard with 6000-rpm live tooling and a servodriven C axis for versatile 4-axis capability.
