The ST-35 is a mid-size big-bore lathe with a generous 533 x 660 mm maximum capacity, a 102 mm bore, and a 527 mm swing over the cross slide. The spindle turns to 3 200 rpm, and the 29,8 kW vector drive system provides 576 Nm of cutting torque. A 305 mm hydraulic chucking system and 12-station turret are standard.

The ST-35Y has a 457 x 584 mm maximum capacity, and adds 101 mm of Y-axis travel (±51 mm from the centerline) for off-center milling, drilling, and tapping. The Haas DS-30 Series Y-axis turning centers combine dual-spindle turning with Y axis, C axis, and live tooling to create powerful “done-in-one” machining solutions for any shop. Available in standard and Super Speed configurations, the machines provide 101 mm of Y-axis travel (±51mm from the centerline) for off-center milling, drilling, and tapping, and come standard with high-torque 6 000 rpm live tooling and a servo-driven C axis for versatile 4-axis capability. The opposed spindles support fully synchronized turning, and allow on-the-fly part pass-off to reduce cycle times.

Haas TR Series machines are versatile 5-axis machining centers based on the popular VF-2, VF-5 and VF-6 VMC platforms. Each machine provides full simultaneous five-axis motion, or can position a workpiece to almost any angle for machining.

The VF-5TR and VF-6TR each feature a dual-axis trunnion table in place of the standard T-slot table, which provides additional Z-axis clearance and increases rigidity. These machines are available in both 40-taper and 50-taper configuration.

For added flexibility on the VF-2TR, a TR160 trunnion is mounted directly to the machine’s standard T-slot table. It can easily be removed when jobs require only 3-axis machining.
