The Haas DS-30 Series Y-axis turning centers combine dual-spindle turning with Y axis, C axis, and live tooling to create powerful “done-in-one” machining solutions for any shop. Available in standard and Super Speed configurations, the machines provide 101 mm of Y-axis travel (±51mm from the centerline) for off-center milling, drilling, and tapping, and come standard with high-torque 6 000 rpm live tooling and a servo-driven C axis for versatile 4-axis capability.

The VF-5TR and VF-6TR each feature a dual-axis trunnion table in place of the standard T-slot table, which provides additional Z-axis clearance and increases rigidity. These machines are available in both 40-taper and 50-taper configuration.

For added flexibility on the VF-2TR, a TR160 trunnion is mounted directly to the machine’s standard T-slot table. It can easily be removed when jobs require only 3-axis machining.
